  • Leading the development of a business plan and performance management framework for a major service provider.
  • Ongoing provision of coaching and mentoring for several clients.
  • Supporting a major service supplier in developing business planning and performance management.
  • Acting as interim refuse manager for a major city authority bringing their service back in house from an external partnership, reviewed and improved operations, identified savings and developed the capacity of the service delivery team.
  • Acted as Interim manager for a Scottish council focusing on strengthening budget management control. Refocusing work planning, and budget management processes.
  • Prepared a marketing opportunities review for a major technical consultancy.
  • Advised an English council on waste strategy and related sustained performance improvements, reviewed environmental operations, overseen performance improvements and managing day-to-day service delivery.
  • Acted as interim project manager for a public sector partnership on their £49M project moving it from a successful bid through to a fully resourced and working project including procurement of professional advisors and a project review to reflect revised funding.
  • Provided project management support for a Scottish council to re-energise teams working on a canal basin and housing development projects.
  • Acted as a member of an English council client “due diligence team” assessing strategic partnership proposals.
  • Reviewing and successfully proving the effectiveness of a Scottish Council’s roads and building maintenance works units and developing associated improvement plans.
  • Providing interim management support to improve a Scottish local authority’s building maintenance service performance and improve it’s commercial capability and flexibility.
